Located within the Coolum Eco-Estate on the Sunshine Coast, this commercial fitout transforms a two-storey industrial unit into the new head office, warehouse and distribution facility for online pet accessories brand.

The existing tenancy presented as a largely raw industrial shell, with exposed concrete floors and walls, limited natural light and an exposed Colorbond roof structure. The brief was to retain elements of this industrial character while creating a functional and engaging workplace capable of supporting the company’s continued growth.

The ground floor is focused on the operational requirements of storage, order fulfilment and dispatch, while the upper level accommodates the company’s head office and supporting workplace spaces. Flexibility was an important consideration, allowing the fitout to adapt as the business and team evolve.

Working alongside Onyx Studio on the interior design, the project introduces playful details and stronger brand expression against the restrained industrial backdrop, creating a workplace that feels distinctly connected.

DraftRoom completed the building documentation and project management, coordinating the design through to delivery and helping transform the industrial unit into a cohesive new home for the business.
