  • Laurence leads DraftRoom with over 15 years of experience in residential building design. His approach combines creative thinking, hand sketching, and practical construction knowledge to create buildings that respond thoughtfully to site, climate, and the people who use them.

    Passionate about collaboration and clear communication, Laurence works closely with clients, consultants, and builders to deliver considered, buildable outcomes that balance creativity with functionality. Alongside project work, he plays an active role in mentoring the studio team and guiding the ongoing growth of the practice.

    Under his direction, DraftRoom has developed a reputation for thoughtful design, practical problem solving, and carefully resolved project outcomes.

  • Aiden is a licensed building designer with a strong focus on construction documentation, code compliance, and project coordination across residential projects. His work combines technical precision with a calm, solutions-focused approach to design.

    Passionate about resolving complex design challenges, Aiden is committed to producing clear, buildable documentation that carries ideas thoughtfully through to construction. Known for his organised and collaborative nature, he works closely with consultants, builders, and the wider design team to maintain clarity throughout the project process.

    His growing design philosophy centres on practical innovation, creating spaces that are functional, refined, and responsive to the way people live and use them.

Aiden
Building Designer | Licensed

  • Lucas is a graduate building designer focused on drafting, documentation, and project support across the studio. Having recently completed his Diploma of Building Design, he brings a practical mindset, strong attention to detail, and an enthusiasm for the design and construction process.

    Before joining DraftRoom, Lucas worked as a sales consultant for a Sunshine Coast builder, where he developed valuable insight into client expectations and the building journey. This experience continues to shape his understanding of practical, well-resolved design outcomes.

    At DraftRoom, Lucas contributes to the clear and accurate delivery of project documentation, supporting effective collaboration between the design team, consultants, and builders.

  • Chloe oversees the operational and administrative systems that support DraftRoom’s day-to-day function, helping maintain a studio environment that is organised, efficient, and client-focused. From accounts management to workflow coordination, she plays an essential role in keeping projects and communication running smoothly behind the scenes.

    With a strong interest in systems, structure, and continuous improvement, Chloe is focused on refining the processes that support both the creative team and client experience. Her attention to detail and thoughtful approach help create clarity across every stage of a project.
