This project involves the proposed renovation and expansion of an existing childcare facility in Goomboorian within the Gympie Regional Council area.
The brief is to increase the approved number of children while maintaining a built form that responds appropriately to the rural character of the locality. As the site is located within a Rural zone and sits on a natural slope, careful consideration has been given to building height, scale, setbacks, and how the extension steps with the landform. Landscaping and streetscape presentation have also been designed to soften visual impact and ensure the development integrates respectfully within its setting.
The project is currently progressing through the Development Application process, with consultant input including traffic, acoustic, wastewater and landscape design forming part of the approval strategy.
